L: "Because all the squishy stuff is INside."
Me: "What squishy stuff?"
L (With an eye roll): "My brain!"
Not sure how she knows it's squishy, but she is fascinated by "what's on the inside" in a very literal sense of the cliche!
I hope she always has a curiosity and growing knowledge of things seen and unseen. :)
