On One Sheets:  Your fifteen minute agent/editor appointment at a writer's conference is your chance to showcase your novel. The spotlight shines bright and brief in those few moments, so why not be sure you're prepared to not only sell your novel, but set the mood of your writing with a top-notch one sheet, leaving the professional with an experience they can't forget?

Angie Dicken's background in design coupled with her passion to write, has garnered her recognition in the Mile High Scribes One Sheet contests of 2011 and 2013. Using her expertise in visual design and her love for Christian Fiction, Angie  provides unique, professional one sheets at affordable prices.

Testimonials:

"Angie's one-sheet blew me away. She listened to all the details I gave her and came up with something that really captured the flavor and setting of my book. "
- Sally Bradley, 4-time ACFW Genesis Finalist

"Angie Dicken was amazing with my One Sheets. Not only was she extremely timely, she basically hit the nail on the head with the very first try. She got my story, understood my needs, happily made tweaks and supplied a product over and beyond my expectations--in an affordable price range. My agent appointments noticed and commented on the fantastic layout of my One Sheets. Highly recommended for the conference bound writer!" -Casey Herringshaw, Frasier Finalist

"After much frustration creating my own one sheet and never being satisfied with the result, Angie was so sweet and offered to help a girl out. The result was SO much better than I could have imagined! I highly recommend Angie for all your one sheet needs!"
-Krista Phillips, author of Sandwich, with a Side of Romance

  • What You Need Before We Start:
Title, genre
A back cover copy
Sales Handle and Elevator pitch
 (check proposal guidelines
Manuscript status
Bio, picture of yourself

Use of black and white to represent theme
(Coal mining town, prejudice)
Set the tone: if it's not obvious in your back cover copy, what's the feel of your novel? Is it rustic, romantic, funny, modern, high tech, mysterious, etc. Is there an underlying theme that could be represented in the visual? For example, if it's about prejudice (my example to the right), would high contrast, black and white be ideal? Do you see a specific color palette when you think of your book?

Any graphics that you legally own, or any suggestions for the graphics you would like to use.
**Angie will only use graphics with the permission of the artist or that have no copyright stipulations. You may give examples of your ideas, but final graphics may vary.**

  • The Design Process:
Once all materials have been sent electronically, turn over should take about a week, according to Angie's workload and your own timeline. When the design is complete and the payment has been received, you'll receive the file and can start printing! Ask about ideas for paper types.

  • Payment:

After the timeline has been established with Angie, payment arrangements will be made.
